- Select an opinion essay from the editorial section of The Plain Dealer or the opinion section of Cleveland Live
- While reading the essay, underline each statement that cannot be verified
(opinion). List these in the space below.
- Choose a news story on the front page of The Plain Dealer of the Cleveland Live news section and repeat the same procedure with
it.
- Count the number of fact and opinion statements in each term and compare.
